I. Working Principle of Fiber Laser Welding Machines

Fiber laser welding machines utilize a high-energy-density laser beam to heat materials, when the material surface is irradiated by the beam, it melts rapidly to form a weld seam. These machines employ a numerical control system to regulate 

the size and shape of the weld, offering advantages such as high precision, high speed, and minimal material damage. They are widely used in industries including automotive manufacturing, electronics, and construction.




II. Steps for Using Fiber Laser Welding Machines

1. Select suitable materials: 

Fiber laser welding machines can weld materials such as metals, plastics, and ceramics. Before use, select the appropriate material based on specific requirements.


2. Preparation: Conduct a safety check before operation to ensure the machine has an adequate power supply and compressed air.

3. Startup sequence:

Turn on the power master switch after checking before use.

Turn the emergency stop button clockwise to bounce up.

Press the chiller start button (the chiller and the system card are charged at the same time, and the display screen is on {Add the coolant and pure water to the water inlet to the standard area for the first time}) Check all water pipes for leaks.

Press the laser start button when the water chiller temperature reaches above 19℃ degree.

Connect safe wire clip to welding plate (if poor contact). The clip, the material and the laser head must be connected to each other to form an electrical circuit for normal welding.


4. Set parameters: 

Configure the laser power and welding speed according to the material thickness and welding specifications.


5. Perform welding: 

Secure the material to the worktable, adjust the position of the laser head, align the beam with the welding area, and start the welding program. Ensure the welding area remains dry and free of oil or grease during the process.


6. Inspect the weld seam: 

After welding, inspect the weld area to ensure the seam is secure and free from defects such as notches, gas leaks, or air bubbles.




III. Precautions

1. Wear protective gear, such as safety glasses and gloves, when using the fiber laser welding machine to prevent laser-related injuries.

2. Clean the welding area and ensure it is dry before commencing welding operations.

3. Select welding materials based on actual needs to avoid using unsuitable materials.

4. Master the correct operating procedures to prevent accidents, such as equipment damage or personal injury.
